I have been busy training with triathlons and procrastinating on putting the servos in the wing, 1. A little hesitant as this is such a lovely model and 2. I wanted to get it right.
So pull the trigger and install, after all my nerves and ‘what if I bugger it’ thoughts it was simple.
I do like the KST servos, yes, they are pricey, but built really well and fit into the servo trays without any issues.
The clear cover fits cleanly over them, not sure if the join between servo and lead is a no, no on top like in the image, but with air running over it I don’t think heat will be a problem.
No Image, but I managed to get the rudder and elevator setup complete after 4 goes at it, I actually had to purchase Blue Bird servos for this, they are super small.
Next, the motor install.
Ladislav from F5JComp has helped me out here, if you have any need for F5J products, he is your go to for the hobby.
