Steff talked me into a shoulder strap for the TX, i’m a thumb flyer and the neck starts to get a bit of a sore spot. Really nice for the money. Have to do a little engineering to get the Horus X12 to fit, but only minor.

Multiple jobs

Had a few small jobs to get through yesterday. Pop in a telemetry RX for the radian and set that up, fix the Cirrus, easy one. Start on the wing build for the Watt’s New and do some main wing work on the Element 3.5. As you can see i was able to get the Altimeter setup on the Horus, thanks to a video by Andrew Newton (LINK) it was extremely helpful. Also thanks to Mike for directing me there.…

Bench upgrade

Had to make the middle bench a bit longer, the Puy Loups and the Watts New demand bigger building surface, As well the A-10 and P-51 need a bigger platform to balance and adjust things. So grabbed a couple of 1200x900x9mm mdf sheets and nailed it to an old door i had. Perfect!!

White strobes

The A-10 comes with red and green nav lights, but i thought they are a bit weak and at a distance not visible. I grabbed a couple from flytron. I’ll post a vid of them running later on.

Eliminator Modified

Project for summer, i’ve taken an old design and modified it for a very light F5J. The Eliminator 134 was a design I’ve always loved, but after a few chats with the boys, we have decided to build some very light machines.
